Questions about private security in Brazil
Define scope before comparing proposals
Do I need executive protection for every Brazil visit?
Destination, nationality or hotel category alone does not determine that need. Discuss the purpose of your visit and request an assessment appropriate to the request. Planning and concierge can be discussed without assuming personal protection is required.
Does an armored car include a personal-protection service?
These are distinct choices. Confirm the vehicle, its armor, the driver’s role and any personal-protection service separately. A package name does not replace the proposal’s inclusions.
Can you help if I have already booked hotels and activities?
Yes. Share confirmed bookings and the support still needed. The proposal should identify what remains your responsibility and what Vanguard Attaché will coordinate, including dependencies on providers already booked.
Who holds and pays the bookings?
Both models can be agreed: bookings held and paid by the client, or bookings arranged by Vanguard Attaché. The proposal defines the model for each item, third-party costs, terms and outstanding confirmations.
How do I compare price, service hours and overtime?
Compare proposals with equivalent scope. Check included hours, transport, protection, third-party costs, taxes, change terms and overtime. Do not read a daily price as 24-hour availability; the contracted period should be in writing.
Who executes regulated armed services?
Regulated armed services in Brazil are delivered by appropriately licensed local partners under Vanguard Attache direction. Confirm the executing provider and the qualifications required for the assigned personnel in your proposal.
Provider documents and proposal terms
Request the company’s legal name, CNPJ, authorization for the agreed activity and current regularity certificate, and use the official Federal Police service to check the company. Agree the documentation deadline and any missing-document remedies in writing. Check the actual contract for cancellation, deposit, refund and any confidentiality or non-circumvention terms; this page does not set those terms.
Is the same service confirmed in every city or in other countries?
Do not infer availability of a configuration from a general description. Include all destinations and request written confirmation of scope, provider, language and availability for each part of the request.
What should I share in the first conversation?
